Office for Mac 2016 released for Microsoft Office 365 users

Microsoft made the long-awaited Office for Mac update available for Office 365 users in 139 countries yesterday, and will have the software available for purchase to everyone else in September. This includes major updates to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the addition of OneNote to the Office for Mac suite.

The 2016 update brings some significant visual and functionality changes, designed to bring the applications more in line with both their Windows counterparts and OS X aesthetics and functionality.
